I always said that helping isn't a simple forward task. Here is the reflection on why. We are constantly asked to deal with our reality. But we are strongly rewarded denying our problems since the reality means living in pain and fear. If our defense mechanism can get us through the difficult times, maybe the reality is such that we need denial.
