Our Parents

Human nature compels us to seek a singular, unequivocal reason for our suffering. When I encountered a 47-year-old man who appeared withdrawn, spoke sparingly, and seemed emotionally fragile, I couldn't help but contemplate the life circumstances he had weathered.
