Let's remember that empathy is the essential tool for national recovery. The prerequisite for change. It is empathy - that is, seeing through other people's perspectives - that activates compassion and becomes a driving force for action. It's easy to be indifferent, anesthetized, getting used to the suffering and complaints of others, allowing apathy to set in.

Ignorance and intolerance can be replaced by experience in the blink of an eye, but indifference would reduce vision. What's more, it disturbs the vision of practicing values such as kindness, generosity, loyalty, patience and compassion.
