There are many theories about why women nowadays do better than men. One is simply that we study more, maybe healthier after 40 and specially more active. We are also more likely to have closer relationships with our family and friends. We manage to hold intimate conversations, talk about our own deepest emotions, and help others discuss theirs. Most of us may carry a long term partner and often decades long friendships to support us. These are very important life assets.
