I was -- and I am -- immensely moved by how family members are affected negatively and in devastation, due to a crisis stricken close member. How difficult it must be, given the intensity of their fear about the suffering of their loved ones. The terrifying experience simply illustrates the power of our feelings for each other,the depth of our care and how selfless we could be despite the terror of losing; as we are all interconnected.

Sooner or later we all go through this very experience. Hopefully we will be strong enough to be their stoic advocate, their comfort, and their consolation.
