I have always talked about my passion for meeting people and hearing their stories. No matter what the story is, understanding of where someone is coming from remind you of how interconnected we all are.

When someone enters into a silent pact, I simply assume she is busy. She is busy taking deep breaths from a recent or ongoing crisis, or that she is busy silencing all irrational thoughts and inner negative dialogues, busy calming her racing heart, or busy repeating to herself that she is alright or soon will be.

I listen to this busy mind and connect silently.
